Service Excellence Award for Stillorgan Park Hotel - Third Year Running

The Stillorgan Park Hotel has once again received the Service Excellence award, through Fáilte Ireland’s Optimus Programme, as special recognition for their on-going commitment to continuous improvement and a first class customer experience. This is the third year in a row that the hotel has received this prestigious award, demonstrating a continuous dedication to provide excellent customer service.

The Optimus Programme was established by Fáilte Ireland in 2004 to develop a culture of excellence within the Hospitality Industry through supporting organisations to become more profitable, more efficient and more competitive.

Liam Campbell, Fáilte Ireland, congratulated The Stillorgan Park Hotel:

“The Stillorgan Park Hotel has undergone a full assessment based on the Optimus framework. This assessment confirms the performance of the hotel and the ability to embed the principles of continuous improvement across their business while transforming these principles into tangible results.

He continued: - “The evident drive and commitment of all is very clearly demonstrated by this award. They deserve to be proud of the results they have delivered in raising the profile of quality management within the Irish tourism industry.”

The performance of The Stillorgan Park Hotel reflects well on the tourism industry’s willingness to embrace change and innovation towards self-improvement by providing a practical approach to improving the quality, value and delight that visitors experience during their stay in Ireland.

Daragh O’Neill, General Manager with the Stillorgan Park Hotel, commented:

“Optimus is probably one of the most rewarding journeys a business can make. We plan to progress to the next level of Optimus and achieve the Mark of Best Practice Award. Ultimately our aim is to achieve the Business Excellence Award.”
