The partnership has seen the hotel extend a warm welcome to many national and international hockey teams. Recently the hotel acted as the base for international hockey teams competing in the pre-Olympic Qualifying Tournament for London 2012 which was staged in the UCD Sports Campus.

Irish Riders Excel in the Talbot Hotel Group speed Derby

The Talbot Hotel Group comprising Stillorgan Park Hotel, Talbot Wexford & Talbot Carlow was proud sponsor of the Speed Derby International Competition which took place at the 2013 Dublin Horse Show. This prestigious event was won by French speed specialist Roger Yves Bost on Castle Forbes Vivaldo van Het.  However the Irish riders featured prominently in the remainder of the placings, with seven Irish riders finishing in the top eight. Promising young Wexford rider Bertram Allen finished third in the placings narrowly missing out on what would have been a very popular win.

A wonderful ‘Ladies Day’ was had by all attending at the Dublin venue where the sun came out to shine on the ladies of Ireland. The Talbot Hotel Group used their annual partnership with the RDS to host their client appreciation day while also contributing valued support the equestrian industry.

The Discover Ireland Dublin  Horse Show is one of the world’s largest international show jumping events in the world and this year, the show has been even bigger and better than ever before.
